I have also gone and entered the ballot for the 2010 Virgin London Marathon- only have to wait for October to see if I've got in!

I've just started reading your blog! very interesting...and I'm 31 and was thinking I might be too old for this but I see you're a bit older so there's hope for me yet! I am hoping to do MDS in 2013. I have Kilimanjaro Adventure Challenge lined up for 2012. I'll keep reading! and WELL DONE!

You are definately not too old, the MdS is a fantastic experience so go for it! I've heard of the Kilimanjaro Adventure Challenge, that sounds fantastic too- good luck!
